With another alumnus from Creighton, I helped redesign and migrate the existing site from BLOX to WordPress & Elementor hosting platform. We met with the newspaper’s student editors, agreed on our contract, and began designing in Adobe XD.

After the designs were finalized, the fun began. The work included migrating over 7,000 news stories from the legacy site to WordPress and translating our XD file into CSS, HTML, and Elementor templates.

It was nostalgic to dive back into the Creighton Bluejay blue for a while, and I am so excited to see this site up and the latest Creighton news displayed for current students, faculty, and alumni!
